Nepal Earthquake Relief
Hilton Worldwide Nepal Relief Campaign

In April 2016 a powerful earthquake devastated Nepal. The epicenter of the earthquake was just 80 kilometers (50 miles) northwest of the capital, Kathmandu, where buildings, homes and many historic sites collapsed. Nearby, more than 80 climbers on Mount Everest were killed during a deadly avalanche and landslide. Other impacted areas include Nepal’s second largest city, Pokhara, Northern India, Tibet and Bangladesh.

Hilton Responds Fund organizations MercyCorps, Oxfam and Save the Children aided recovery efforts, addressing immediate needs for shelter, food, clean water and medical assistance.

Voluntary donations to the Fund were used to deliver lifesaving relief to survivors and provide the resources needed to help rebuild Nepal. Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
